 The Aiken Hounds' Opening Meet and Blessing of the Hounds is held on Thanksgiving Day at Memorial Gate in the Hitchcock Woods. Father Garrett Clanton of All Saints Anglican Church will officiate. The public is most welcome to attend, but please do not bring your own dogs to the Blessing. Please allow a good 30 minutes walk from the Laurens Street entrance to Memorial Gate.  During the regular hunt season, the Aiken hounds meet on Tuesday at 2:00 pm and on Saturdays at 9:00 am. Most of the season, we will meet at Memorial Gate; however, on occasion we will meet at The Stable On The Woods, located on Dibble Road in Aiken.
